BGMI x Squid Game collaboration soon!
BGMI fans who had been ardently waiting for a BGMI x Squid Game collaboration can heave a sigh of relief as recent leaks suggest that this collaboration is going to happen soon in the game. Not only that, players will be able to enjoy a new game mode based on Squid Game.
Krafton never fails to impress its fan base as it keeps on adding new changes to the game to make Battlegrounds Mobile India, a little more than just a battle-royale game. These changes often go hand in hand with new collaborations that Krafton makes with immensely popular games, personalities and companies. After partnering up with Netflix’s animated series Arcane based on Riot Games’ League of Legends, Krafton is gearing up for BGMI x Squid Game collaboration.
BGMI x Squid Game collaboration release date
Squid Game, a popular Korean Drama series on Netflix is the talk of the town. Within days of its release, the series became tremendously popular in several countries including India. The consequence of this popularity was that several developers got in action to bring a Squid Game inspired mode in their games. As of now, Free Fire and Fortnite have collaborated with the series.
The Squid Game collaboration of Free Fire brought a game mode named, Red Light and Green Light. There were numerous rumours that a similar mode will be seen in Battlegrounds Mobile India and now, popular BGMI content creator, Classified YT has confirmed the BGMI x Squid Game collaboration which might be seen in the game on 20th December,2021.

Gameplay
As per the recent video posted by Classified YT (Nitin Chougale), the BGMI x Squid Game collaboration will bring a new game mode which will be quite similar to Free Fire’s Red Light, Green Light. Although some changes such as the outfits and the robot standing at the front will be different in Battlegrounds Mobile India.
The game play will be just like the original Squid Game. Players need to run towards the finish line when the music plays. As soon as the music stops, players need to stop as well, failing which, they will be killed by the sniper towers placed at the corners of the robot. If players reach the finish line within time, they will be able to win the mode.
Although the announcement of BGMI x Squid Game collaboration has not been made officially, players should wait until Krafton announces it. Nevertheless, the leaks suggest that the new game mode will certainly be available in the upcoming update of BGMI.
