The DMZ mode of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 has become one of the most favourite game modes of COD. As both the games were recently released, they had many bugs that needed to be taken care of and Activision did so in the latest update. Along with fixing all the bugs they also buffed the AIs in the DMZ game mode.

The AI Bots are now ridiculously overpowered and ruthlessly hunt players down in DMZ, players then lose all the items they had collected in the extraction mode. DMZ is an escape from the battle royal for warzone players and getting killed by a bot in DMZ in three shots while you have good loot and several contracts won is very frustrating.

CharlieIntel in a recent tweet mentions that Infinity Ward has made DMZ more challenging as taking cars into the radiation zone is not possible now. They have also nerfed the gas masks in the game. Several things have been changed in the game and here is a breakdown of the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 1.11 update.

Activision has fixed several bugs for the DMZ mode which include:

  • Players get kicked out of the backpack if they loot an eliminated player’s backpack and they disconnect.
  • They have fixed the “Failed to connect to data center’s error” which occurs while extracting.
  • Fixed an issue causing some unlocks in the Gunsmith to not track Weapon progression.
  • Fixed an issue that was preventing the correct number of Battle Pass Tokens from appearing on the Battle Pass Menu.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented some players from launching the game due to GPU compatibility.
  • Fixed an issue preventing players from equipping Lethal and Tactical equipment.
  • Fixed an issue that caused lobby-wide microphone input during matchmaking.
  • Fixed an issue allowing players to keep Armor Plate Carrier upgrades between matches despite having been eliminated.
  • Fixed an issue causing players to lose their Backpack upgrade when extracting after having been revived.

There are several other fixes but the players are now facing overpowered AIs and the heartbeat sensor is also facing some bugs along with some other perks like High Alert and Shost.
