Developers pushed Star Wars Jedi: Survivor release date: New release date, and more
Fans have to wait a bit longer to wield a lightsaber in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is one of the most anticipated games of the year. It will explore the next chapter of Cal Kestis’ Journey. The previous title received immense love. EA decided to introduce a new installment in Star Wars Jedi franchise.
But fans of Lucas Studio have to wait for more weeks till they get their hands on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Fans will undoubtedly be disappointed by the news that Respawn Entertainment has pushed back the game’s release date. However, the new date isn’t too far off from the old one, which is a great relief to fans.
Apparently, the game needs a little bit more “Force” before its official release. Here’s the new release date along with the reason for this delay.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will arrive on 28 April

Earlier, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was supposed to release on 17 March, 2023. Devs have now delayed the game for 6 weeks and now the title will be released on 28 April 2023. They reported this news on Twitter.
Devs also discussed the progress of the game. They said that they need a little more time to make Star Wars Jedi: Survivor what fans expect. Devs feel that the game has some room for improvement. They said,
“Jedi: Survivor is a direct response to the feedback from our community, delivering expansive destinations to explore, evolved combat and traversal, and of course, the continuation of Cal and BD’s story.”
They further added,
“Making this game has truly made us a better team, and we have pushed ourselves at every level to make this the Star Wars sequel our fans expect from Respawn and Lucasfilm Games”
Vince Zampella, CEO and Group General Manager of Respawn Entertainment, also issued a statement. He stated that Respawn is committed to developing games that feel pleasant to play. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order received praise for its excellent combat and all-around compelling narrative, but it also received criticism for its lack of polish. This delay might help devs to polish the game better.
Fans react to this news
A delay always upsets the gaming community but it’s always great to improve the game rather than giving fans some half-cooked game. They are thoroughly checking there are no bugs or any type of glitches in the game. But it was great to see that players are taking this delay positively.
Please take your time! Us players are just excited to see what’s next, please do whatever is necessary to make sure the teams are taken care of (and your communications team, hi!!! ily’all). Can’t wait for April 28!

I’m sure most people prefer to wait so it can be an absolute banger like the first. Can’t wait to stream it

Take the time. No rush. Product quality + team health > release date.

Nonetheless, this positive response from the community is due to their love towards both the Star Wars franchise and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. It will be very interesting to see how the game does after its release. Other than Mandalorian, other new installments in the Star wars franchise have been mid. So fans expect every bit from these Star wars games.
