Disguised Toast has recently addressed the struggles of his VALORANT team, DSG, in the NA VCT Challengers. The team has suffered three consecutive losses in the tournament. This prompted the streamer to apologize to fans and acknowledge the difficulty of the experience.

He acknowledged the impact it has had on the players. “Esports have definitely been one of the more challenging experiences I’ve faced in my career,” he said. “They all message me after each loss apologizing for their performances and it really sucks to see them so defeated.”

Disguised Toast opens up about DSG’s lackluster performance
The streamer went on to explain that the attention and pressure on the team due to his name being associated with them have made losses even more difficult to handle. However, he also emphasized that the players are doing their best and that is all anyone can ask for. “They are each trying their best and that is all anyone can ask from someone,” he said.
Disguised Toast entered the esports scene in April by acquiring two Valorant teams. One team competed in the NA Challengers and the other attempted to qualify for the VCT Game Changers circuit. Disguised’s female team has played only a few series in April. However, the male DSG team has not met expectations in the Challengers tournament.
Despite the rocky start, DSG still has two series left to play in the NA Challengers circuit. Disguised is slated for games against M80 on May 12 and TSM the following week. While the team faces tough competition, there is still a chance to climb back up the rankings if they secure the next two wins.
