“We are so back oh my god,” – Fans are over the moon as Rockstar Games releases the first official trailer for GTA 6

GTA 6 is the most anticipated game of this generation. Fans have been waiting for the game for nearly a decade with little to no information about its development. Hence, it is no wonder that fans were elated when they finally got some information about the game’s development and, eventually, the recently released trailer.

Rockstar Games released the trailer for the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto franchise on December 5th, 2023. However, the trailer was released more than 12 hours earlier than it was supposed to be because someone leaked it earlier than its launch time. Since then, fans have been left speechless by the 91-second teaser.

It is no secret that the trailer has been a huge hit. The teaser garnered over 74 million views within 17 hours of its release and is increasing every minute. The reactions to the trailer have been overwhelmingly positive. Rockstar Games has received much praise for the incredible graphics, the massive and detailed Vice City map, and the focus on a female protagonist for the first time in the series’ history.

Streamers like IShowSpeed have also reacted to the GTA 6 trailer and have had nothing but good things to say about it. The only downside about the game seems to be its release date, with fans having to wait an additional two years for the game’s launch in 2025.

Since the trailer’s launch, Twitter and other social media platforms have received applause for the game, hilarious reactions, and even some concerns. Many internet users have shared hilarious images and memes to pass the time until the game’s long-awaited release date. It is no secret that players cannot wait to jump into the world of Vice City and explore what Rockstar Games has to offer.

Some fans have also expressed concern about the female protagonist in the game. The Grand Theft Auto franchise has a shady history regarding the games’ portrayal of women. Fans are concerned about Lucia, the female protagonist, being overly sexualized in the game and used as eye candy rather than treating the character with seriousness.

But all in all, fans cannot believe they finally got the GTA 6 trailer. They also poked fun at Rockstar Games, finding the guy who leaked the trailer early and caused them to release it hours early.
