He is the inaugural La Liga POTM winner for the new FIFA 23 cycle and may be unlocked through finishing a Squad Building Challenge (SBC) in FIFA Ultimate Team.

The vote for this POTM award was heavily contested by players from the top 2 teams in the league, Valverde from Real Madrid and Robert Lewandowski from opponents FC Barcelona. With an impressive pace stat of 89, 80 Defending and 82 Passing, he is the definition of a perfect midfielder in FIFA 23.
