FIFA 23’s FUT RTTK (Road To The Knockouts) is out soon! Road To The Knockouts, the next promo from EA Sports for FIFA 23 is set to release on Friday, October 7. The first week of the full release of FIFA 23 is almost wrapped up, and the second week is set to begin with a bang with the launch of the RTTK promo.

After Ones to Watch, RTTK is another promotion with dynamic items. RTTK cards are European competition themed cards featuring players competing in the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League. Unlike OTW (Ones to Watch) items, RTTK items already come with upgrades and are eligible for even more boosts.

Players Have Been Leaked Ahead of the RTTK Promo in FIFA 23

This year’s RTTK player items will be spectacular

The Road to the Knockouts promotion is coming up. As leaks suggest, the expected release date is this Friday, October 7. However, it’s no surprise that you can get UEFA Champions League-themed items. The UCL group stage starts before the World Cup.

Upgrade requirements for RTTK items have not yet been published. However, in FIFA 22, Road to the Knockouts players can get up to 3 upgrades as shown below.

Initial Upgrade

All Road To The Knockout players in FIFA 22 were available for the initial upgrade included in the promo.

Qualification for the Knockout Stage

In FIFA 22, when your club qualifies for the Knockout Stage of the competition you participate in, your Road to the Knockout item will be upgraded by +1. This does not include qualification for the UEFA Europa League from the UEFA Champions League. The top two teams from each European group will qualify for the knockout stage.

3 Wins in Next 4 Group Stage Matches

RTTK players would receive a +1 upgrade if they won 3 out of 4 of their remaining group stage matches.

According to reliable FIFA 23 news leaker FUTZone, the players below will be introduced in the RTTK promo:

  • Federico Valverde
  • Phil Foden
  • Ibrahima Konate
  • Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
  • Raphinha
  • Theo Hernandez

According to EA, these cards will receive additional upgrades during the Group Stage in the following cases:

  • If the player’s team qualifies for the Knockout stage of the tournament, the player will receive an upgrade.
  • If the club wins three of the four remaining group stage matches in any competition.

Therefore, these cards are upgradeable and users who purchase them do not require the players having to play for the club to receive the upgrade.
