Fortnite has been Epic Games’ biggest success in the battle royale shooter genre. Players have loved the game due to its unique mechanics, making it unmatched in the shooting genre. But that’s not the only thing players love. The cosmetics market in Fortnite is massive. The market has many famous fictional character skins, from Kratos to Anakin and even Eren Jaeger.

However, among all these skins, Marvel has a separate fan base in Fortnite. The game features Prowler, a villain from the movie Into the Spider-Verse, and Spider-Gewn, a character from the same movie. And now, Fortnite has brought a new collaboration with the upcoming movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse, with Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2099!

This collab features a brand new Miles Morales character skin and a Spider-Man 2099 skin. Furthermore, the skin is now available for purchase in the store. This is the first time Fortnite has released a Miles Morales skin, despite the massive success of the first Spider-verse movie. And accompanying Miles is the fan favorite, Spider-Man 2099. This collaboration has been the most sought-after by players all around.

Fortnite released the previous collab with Into The Spider-verse in Chapter 3, Season 2. The skin update featured Prowler as the main attraction, and Chapter 3, Season 4 added Spider-Gwen to the game shortly afterward. She arrived as a battle pass skin in the game. So these new character skins are the new best cosmetic update of Chapter 4, Season 2.

Miles Morales & Spider-Man 2099: Bundle, cost & more

This massive collab of Fortnite with Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse is live as on 23 April 2023. Furthermore, a tweet broke this news to gamers, showing them the Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2099 skins.

Considering that the movie, Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse is scheduled to release on 2 June, the timing of this update is just right. The upcoming skins have been codenamed Hero & Menace Universal. Also, this update is not just limited to the character skins. This update consists of the following things:

  • Character skin: Miles Morales
  • Character skin: Spider-Man 2099
  • A new Mythic Web Shooter
  • Spider-Ham Mallet Pickaxe
  • 928 Axes
  • New Emote

The price of this bundle is the standard price of other similar bundles in-game. The complete bundle costs 2,800 V-Bucks. And both skins, if purchased separately, would cost 1,500 V-Bucks. Also, the Spider-Ham Mallet bundled with the new emote costs 1,000 V-Bucks, while the 928 Axes bundle costs 500 V-Bucks. That said, this is still a standard price, and there’s no increase in it, considering that this is still a huge collab.
