Although it is not officially announced, the 2.4 update leaks of Genshin Impact had revealed that Ganyu would be getting a rerun in the current update. As her banner is going to be released with Zhongli, fans are having second thoughts on pulling Ganyu in Genshin Impact.

Ganyu is a five-star female character that was first released in the game on January 2021. She is a half qilin Adeptus who is under the contract of Geo Archon Morax. Due to her unconventional appearance, she is referred to as cocogoat by the Genshin Impact community. She is a Cryo bow user who is considered the best F2P friendly character as she is easy to build. Here we look at some reasons as to why players should go for Ganyu in Genshin Impact.

1) Strongest DPS character

Ganyu in Genshin Impact is often referred to as the strongest DPS character as her normal and charge attacks are so powerful that players do not have to depend on her Elemental skills or burst much. Her consistent Cryo DMG makes her one of the most overpowered characters in the game.

2) Unique gameplay

Being a bow user, Ganyu’s gameplay is somewhat different from other bow users in the game. For players having a hard time defeating the flying enemies, Ganyu would be the best option as players can hit the enemies from a safe distance. She can also pull off a high AoE DMG even from a farther distance.

3) Versatile

Ganyu is one of the most versatile characters who can be built either as a DPS or a Sub DPS/ Support unit. Her elemental skills and burst can use effective use of Cryo to deal with the enemies as well as trigger elemental reactions if she is paired with Pyro characters. She can also be paired with Hydro characters such as Mona to leave the enemies defenseless.

4) Scales well with constellations

Players can trust MiHoYo blindly as they are going to give several rerun banners of Ganyu in Genshin Impact. Ganyu’s first constellation, Dew Drinker will make her an overpowered character. As her charged attacks make her powerful, her C1 will decrease the Cryo resistance of the enemies by 15% for 6 seconds.

5) Best F2P build

Ganyu in Genshin Impact is one of the best characters to use for F2P players. Players can obtain the Prototype Crescent and Hamayumi Bows as they are immensely great for increasing the ATK sub-stats of Ganyu. Artifacts like Blizzard Strayer can also be obtained easily.
