GTA 6 Potential Leak: First time in the series surfing would be part of the game

It's leaked that developers have employed a big workforce just to work on the water physics in the game!

Grand Theft Auto series changed the face of open-world games forever. With the immense success of GTA V, Rockstar Games is currently in the development of its next installment. The next game in the series is titled GTA 6. GTA 5 has almost everything except for water activities like surfing, waterboarding, etc. that players can do.

Players believe the next installment will have it all. But been in development hell for the last decade; GTA 6 is one of the most awaited games of all time. An unknown hacker leaked the potential gameplay of the upcoming game just last year. Gamers around the world were amazed by the potential story of this game, but they also felt disappointed as the game still appears to be far from complete.

Since then, people have leaked information about GTA 6, filling the gaming world with rumors. These leaks are either fabricated, fake, or pretty ugly, leaving little room for authenticity. Recently, another piece of news regarding this upcoming game has surfaced. First time in the whole series, GTA will have high-level water physics, with players being able to surf on water.

The tweet states how Rockstar Games has dedicated a group of 20 engineers to work on this. A workforce of 20 working on just one mechanic of the game is very huge. This shows that the water physics of this game and the ability to surf will be very well defined. Players can expect surfing and other water-related activity to be the new GTA meta with the upcoming GTA 6. This has brought delight to fans.

GTA 6 potential future and what Rockstar has stored for fans

It was speculated that Rockstar Games has scheduled the release of GTA 6 for next year, which is 2024, but not much else is known about it. Rockstar Games has not yet launched any trailers or first looks. The hacker who leaked the information revealed that GTA 6 would feature a female protagonist, but we currently know almost little to nothing.

This is a first from Rockstar Games. Rockstar Games is supposed to release GTA 6 as their next big thing after GTA 5 & Red Dead Redemption 2. Considering how GTA 5 and RDR 2 changed the whole open-world genre in the gaming industry, players are expecting big things from Rockstar Games.

Rockstar Games has intensive world-building. Their open world is huge, with a lot to explore. But they have a lack of water activities that players can do. In GTA 5, players can use a boat and a submersible. GTA Online cracked this up a notch. Rockstar added the Kosatka, a full-sized submarine in the game. However, that’s the extent of it. No other water-related activity is available to perform on the water. Well, except for swimming, but that is not much fun, is it?

It’s all up to speculation, at this point, over what this game may include. If the water physics of this game would turn out as intended, we can expect big things. We would have access to many water activities, such as waterboarding races and surfing races. That is in case Rockstar Games doesn’t disappoint us. One thing we can say regarding GTA 6 with all surety is that, there’s still time for its launch. And all we can do is hope that it doesn’t disappoint like other recently launched big AAA title games.
