Earlier this year, Riot Games revealed their new League of Legends music group, Heartsteel. The group comprises reimagined versions of six League of Legends characters as band members. The group debuted their first single called Paranoia on October 23rd, 2023. The song is written and performed by popular South Korean singer-songwriter BAEKHYUN. The song also features other artists such as Tobi Lou, ØZI, and Cal Scruby.

Heartsteel features six of the most loved characters in League of Legends in Ezreal as the vocalist, Kayn as a rapper and instrumentalist, Aphelios as a songwriter and instrumentalist, Yone as the producer, K’Sante as the co-leader and vocalist, and Sett as the other co-leader and the rapper.

The League of Legends Worlds 2023 Grand Finals recently took place at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea. During the event’s opening ceremony, the music group finally got to make its first live performance as they performed their single Paranoia.

The event featured a ground-breaking spectacle from the group’s real-life musical artists. The performance was accompanied by ground-breaking augmented reality effects, marvellous lighting, and crisp audio that made for a memorable experience League of Legends fans won’t forget any time soon.

Heartsteel performs Paranoia at LoL Worlds 2023

The music group’s electrifying performance started with American artist Cal Scruby. The singer kicked off the show by dressing up as Kayn while he sang, wielding a massive Darkin Scythe prop. Following him was the popular South Korean artist BAEKHYUN, who is supposed to be the musical group’s lead singer.

Hence, he dressed up as Ezreal in an all-black outfit adorned with orange belts. A stunning projection of the LoL character appeared behind him as he mesmerised the audience with his vocals. The character also unleashed a Trueshot Barrage as he performed. Ozi, dressed up as Sett, took to the stage next as he delivered his stellar rap performance.

Next up was Toby Lou, representing K’Sante. He made a stunning entrance and continued to impress the audience with his vocals during the bridge of the song. The performance climaxed as the massive LED screen behind them shattered and unveiled AR versions of all six members of Heartsteel. The artists sang and danced together to bring the performance to a close.
