The new Fortnite Frolic Emote has been introduced and the community is pretty hyped up about the new rhythmic emote. The new Frolic is an Icon Series Emote in Fortnite: Battle Royale, that can be purchased in the Item Shop for 500 V-Bucks. It was first released in Chapter 3: Season 1. The emote has moves that let players interact with each other by waving, dancing, or doing any number of other moves at any given time.
Frolic’s choreography belongs to noumoe913 on Twitter, also known as the “Leek Dance Farm Girl”. It originates from her video on the Japanese video platform Niconico Douga, titled ‘Ievan Polkka’ on July 20th, 2011, and was her take on the popular “Leekspin” meme.
Emotes were introduced early in the game and were quite simple. As more and more emotes were added, Fortnite decided to create the BoogieDown contest, where all players could post a video of themselves making a whole new dance, and the best would be added into the game.
The emote is an Icon series emote of Fortnite which means it is one of the premia emotes in the game. The dance is not the complete song itself, rather an excerpt from the chorus of it in a loop. Emotes in the game was always a fan-favorite. They are cosmetic items available in Battle Royale and Save The World, from dances to taunts to holiday-themed.
