Darren ‘iShowSpeed’ had the honor of interacting with Canadian rapper Drake on his February 15th live stream. The conversation was quite unexpected as the YouTuber decided to do a random FaceTime, without hoping that the singer will indeed pick up the call.

To his utter astonishment, Drake picked up the call after a few texts in Instagram’s DM. This left iShowSpeed jumping out of excitement as he continued to say, “Oh my god!” when the call connected.

After a few moments, the YouTuber asked about his whereabouts, to which Drake replied that he was doing well. The award-winning musician later commended iShowSpeed, saying, “I’m proud of you, boy.” Following this, the 17-year-old content creator expressed how this has become a ‘fan moment’ for him.

The conversation took a different turn when iShowSpeed asked the hottest topic in football, “Ronaldo or Messi.”. Drake responded by saying that this can be a sticky one, but he is a Ronaldo fan. Just when Speed was about to give a wide smile, Drake stated that he admits the current period to be ‘Messi’s time’, but he has always been a Ronaldo fan just like him.

As a Ronaldo fanboy since ages, Speed was over the moon after hearing this. He claimed, “you are special bro,” as he explained that most of the people he meets, declare Messi as the G.O.AT.

Unlike the other interactions of iShowSpeed with prominent personalities, his conversation with Drake went quite good during the initial moments. In fact, the musician was in all praise for the YouTuber.

He described that he thinks high of Speed and is nothing but proud of him for the things he has been doing. Darren was evidently glad to hear the commendations when he finally decided to compliment his voice.

“Your voice is so se*y, like bro how is it so smooth like that,” claimed the YouTuber which created an awkward situation for Drake. As a consequence, he hanged up the call leaving Speed bewildered.

As soon as the call ended, the YouTuber was frustrated as he started hitting on his chair. It was clear that he realized what just happened but he asserted that he didn’t mean to say it in a wrong way.

Most of the YouTube comments in Speed’s video were fans appreciating how far the content creator has come. They also noted how hilariously the call ended between the duo.
