Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has responded to the people criticizing his initiative to cure 1000 blind people on his recent YouTube video. The program has received mixed responses as majority of the community claimed it to be a ‘publicity stunt’.
Twitterati is divided over the step taken by the content creator. Some hold the opinion that he paid for the surgeries as someone has to take the first step. Others, however, lashed out at him saying that he is just eager to get more views through this type of content.
Observing this, the Kansas native decided to put forward his opinion through two different tweets. The first one was a dig at the government as MrBeast was bewildered to see that the concerned members are not stepping in to cure those who require a nominal surgery.
I don’t understand why curable blindness is a thing. Why don’t governments step in and help? Even if you’re thinking purely from a financial standpoint it’s hard to see how they don’t roi on taxes from people being able to work again.
