The CS: GO Paris Major has been quite a wild ride so far, with giants of the competition like G2 Esports and FaZe Clan standing at the brink of elimination at the end of Day 1 of the Legends stage. However, another news related to the tournament has caught fans’ eyes. Former Counter Strike professional player, Jarosław “pashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski had embarked on a 1800 km journey on bike, travelling from Poland to Paris to support Polish team 9INE during the tournament.

Unfortunately, the team got eliminated before the retired professional could reach Paris. However, the gesture has won over the hearts of many in the Counter Strike community.

Pasha was a vital member of his crew at Virtus.pro where he played as an AWPer and a rifler. He retired back in 2019, but has still been actively involved in the competitive sphere of the game.

PashaBiceps announced back on May 9 that if 9INE made it to the playoffs of the ongoing BLAST CS: GO Paris Major, he would embark on an 1800 km long journey from Poland to Paris on bike. He would do this to support the team during the tournament and would livestream his entire journey on his Twitch channel. However, on May 12, he announced that he would not wait for the qualification to happen and would begin his journey then itself. That way, he could be in Paris in time to support the team during the matches.

9INE is the first Polish team to have qualified for a CS: GO Major in the last five years, which may have inspired Pasha to embark upon his journey. While the former pro’s ultimate goal may not have succeeded, his venture is still being widely applauded among the CS: GO community.
