Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg and his wife Marzia’s pregnancy has been the talk of the town ever since the announcement in February of this year. The couple got married in 2019 and moved to Japan shortly after.

Pewdiepie was the most subscribed Youtuber previously before being dethroned by MrBeast earlier in 2023. He rose to fame due to his “Let’s Game” videos and comedic skits that amassed him a massive following of over 111 million subscribers on YouTube. The Swedish YouTuber had occasionally been posting updates online about him and his spouse’s pregnancy and fans were excited just as much as he was. On May 5th, Pewdiepie uploaded a vlog titled “Think it’s time we did a gender reveal” leaving his fans in an uproar.

In his latest upload, Pewdiepie also mentioned serious news that his wife Marzia could risk going into premature labor, and has been advised to rest and take it easy for the near future. However, he did also inform his fans that his spouse was in good health and her medical checkups showed no other signs of problems after receiving the news.

Following Pewdiepie’s recent vlog uploaded to his YouTube channel, fans have speculated that his first child could be a boy. Although the couple have not revealed the actual gender, fans have thought this due to some shots in the recent video Felix uploaded.

Felix’s recent vlog showcased many shots of Koinobori streamers set up for Children’s Day in Japan. Koinobori streamers shaped like koi fish that are often hung up during the country’s celebrations for its children. The holiday originally emerges during the ancient times and was initially called Tango no sekku, a holiday specifically for male children leading fans to think the baby was actually a boy.

Other that the vlog, his spouse Marzia has also uploaded pictures of the Koinbori streamers to her Instagram page with the caption “hint, hint”, leading fans to believe this speculation even more.

Although this has neither been confirmed or denied, fans have joined hands in congratulating the couple on this auspicious occasion.
