PewDiePie twitch stream back and doing Infinity Stream
The return of PewDiePie’s Twitch channel caused a stir in the streaming world. It started streaming the YouTuber’s old videos live to thousands of viewers. Despite being inactive for years, the channel has resurfaced with an “infinity stream,” dubbed an “infinite money glitch” by fans due to the massive amount of content being recycled.
PewDiePie gained fame by posting Let’s Play videos of various games on YouTube, sharing his reactions to millions of viewers worldwide. His channel became the most-subscribed and most-viewed on the platform in 2013 and 2014, respectively. Although he briefly streamed on Twitch and amassed 1.3 million subscribers, PewDiePie decided to “soft retire” from both platforms to focus on his personal life.

As pointed out on Twitter by Seth Fowler, PewDiePie has over 4,000 videos on YouTube. This can provide an almost endless supply of content for the Twitch channel to play on loop.
The sudden streaming activity on PewDiePie’s Twitch channel, which was inactive for almost five years, initially caused confusion among fans. Some even speculated about the channel getting hacked.
However, it was later revealed that the YouTuber had partnered with CoPilot Media. It is an online media licensing and management company that assists content creators in running their channels. To dispel rumors of a hack, the CoPilot Media Twitch account, explained that the first day was a beta test for PewDiePie Infinity and that it was an official stream.
A pinned message in PewDiePie’s Twitch channel chat reveals that the endless loop of old videos is a test rollout. Content monetization company CoPilot Media published the message, stating that PewDiePie will make an official announcement about his channel soon. While the nature of this announcement remains unknown, PewDiePie has already acknowledged that using his old content is an “infinite money glitch in real life” that draws subscribers without the need for new content.
