Twitch stars Pokimane and Maya Higa have provided their much-awaited response to the Atrioc deepfake controversy. The Twitch streamer was recently caught watching the deepfake videos of some well-known female stars, and this has sparked a huge uproar on the platform.

As Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys and Maya Higa were some of the names that were included in the list of streamers whose deepfake videos were created, the community was curious to know their response to the situation. Both of the streamers took to Twitter to describe the horrors of the incident.

Imane had a straightforward response as her post read, “Stop se*ualizing people without their consent. that’s it, that’s the tweet.” On the other hand, Maya Higa released a statement where she hit out at the male streamers who are providing their opinion on this issue.

She also compared the current situation with an incident she faced in 2018. Maya stated,

“The world calls my 2018 experience ra*e. The world is debating over the validity of my experience today.”

She further explained that throughout her streaming career, she has not created any se*ually provoking content. Despite all this, her face is getting used for creating such type of content.

Maya also criticized the people who are brushing off the situation as ‘not a big deal’. Concluding the statement, she expressed that she feels ‘disgusted, vulnerable, nauseous and vulnerable’ as people are using her images for se*ual gratification.

Both Poki and Maya have stated that it is disgusting to see that some websites are using AI technology to create se*ualized content without their consent. In addition to that, Blaire ‘QTCinderella‘ has threatened to sue the websites engaged in such actions.
