Imane “Pokimane” is a big star in the gaming community on Twitch she had over 9 million followers. Recently she called the Twitch gambling streams on crypto websites “legally ambiguous and morally corrupt”.
Streamers like Trainwreck, xQc, and Adin Rose are some top who broadcast gambling streams on Twitch which has become the trend on Amazon-owned platforms. For the past few its a debating topic within the community, and it will automatically influence the thousand of viewers who are watching their streamer playing the gambling game to make the thousands more by spending less.

On May 19, Imane on her streams hit back at those streamers who defended the gambling meta going on and accused by saying taking money at the expanse of their viewership. While discussing the mobile game’s microtransaction compared with gambling and she stated that both are equally “Bad”.
The streamer continues her thoughts and said “You’re comparing something that can be arguably bad, to something that’s really f**king bad.,” she said. “Why are people trying so hard to make gambling seem worse by comparing it to other things. We can still all agree that this is really f**king bad, right?”
The Canadian streamer blame streamers who are taking sponsorship deals of gambling streams by saying “I’m for taking money from the rich and giving to the people, but you’re rich, and you’re gonna make millions off your viewers.” she continued, “cause that’s how it works. Your viewers lose money.”
Furthermore, she explains his whole scenario of gambling on the Microsoft Paint project and illustrates the cycle of gambling sponsorship money “Viewer loses money. Ruins life. Sadge.” she continued “Rich investors. People buy game. Spend money. No life ruin. No sadge.”
In the end, she shared her last thoughts before ending the never-ending debate on gambling streams she cited “Just because other things that are less bad are legal, the means we should allow worse things? That’s such terrible logic for a society.”
