As Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys hails from Morocco, she was quite happy when she noticed that her native country’s name is scripting history at the FIFA World Cup 2022 by becoming the first African nation to reach the semi-finals stage.
She even expressed how joyous she was after celebrating on Twitter but when the team suffered defeat at the hands of France, like every other Moroccan national, she shed tears of grief. Her fans, on the other hand, were ready to provide her a shoulder and console her.
On her December 16th livestream, Pokimane revealed how people were mentioning her on Twitter and claiming that she can always reach out to them if she feels depressed due to the team’s loss. She showed the mentions to her audience one by one where one of the messages read- “I just hope Poki is okay”, this left the streamer laughing.
“They were so ready bro, they had that sh*t copy pasted, they were ready with the rizz”, the 26-year-old content creator implied how hilarious the situation has turned out to be. She further revealed that she was certainly upset at the defeat but she was proud simultaneously as they reached such a huge stage.
