Tfue was one of the most popular Fortnite streamers on the planet during the game’s heyday. He had been streaming the game before it hit mainstream success in 2017. Although he played other video games, including battle royales such as PUBG and H1Z1, he was always one of Twitch’s most popular Fortnite streamers.
Tfue had played professionally for several years under the FaZe banner. In June 2023, Tfue hung up his boots and retired from streaming and professional play. After a two-month absence, the streamer uploaded a video to YouTube announcing his retirement. He subsequently went dark on all social media platforms. He said that he wanted to “go live his life.”
His retirement seems to have been short-lived, though. The streamer took to Twitter to announce that he was coming out of hiatus to return to gaming and streaming. The video caused a lot of waves on social media as it gained over 200,000 views within half an hour.
