Cricket and Esports have a fan following in millions and when the two are merged together, fans are bound to have an enjoyment beyond their expectations. PUBG Mobile players have seen major partnerships throughout the year, the latest being with popular fictional hero Spider-Man but players from Pakistan have got another reason to rejoice as the game is officially becoming an Esports partner of a popular cricket franchise.

Tencent had previously announced various surprises for players in Pakistan such as the Gully Squad event where the officials partnered up with legendary cricketer Shoaib Akhtar. A possible character of this cricketer was also leaked in the game earlier and the latest announcement for PUBG Mobile Pakistan fans is that Lahore Qalandars has entered into a partnership with the popular game.
This partnership will bring exclusive in-game items for the players who play from the Pakistan region. However, details regarding the rewards have not been announced as of now. Lahore Qalandars is a popular cricket franchise in the country which plays in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) representing the capital, Lahore.
The announcement of the partnership came through the official social media handles of the authorization. Fans were quick to react as cricket and eSports, especially the battle royale game is widely popular in Pakistan. The Pakistan server of PUBG Mobile is also going to complete its 1 year anniversary soon, therefore, players can expect a lot of rewards in the game.
The battle-royale game faced a ban earlier in Pakistan, however, the ban was later lifted. Ever since that, Tencent is making several efforts to grow the fanbase in Pakistan. This partnership might increase the global popularity of PUBG Mobile even more as many international players are a part of Lahore Qalandars.
