Players are currently enjoying the PUBG Mobile 1.8 update where Spiderman could be seen swinging in the battlegrounds as a part of the major crossover. Along with several noticeable changes, Tencent has earlier today revealed that the Ban Pan system has been upgraded.

While it is true that PUBG Mobile has seen the dominance of hackers who caused menace for a very long period of time, players can’t deny this fact that the authorities are improving their steps to curb the nuisance created by the hackers. From Ban Pan system to Device Ban feature, Tencent wishes to assure the players that the battle-royale game does not welcome hackers and cheaters.

Tencent rolled out PUBG Mobile 1.8 update on January 12th, 2022 globally for the players. The new update has offered a Spider Man mode, Aftermath mode in Livik and changes to the existing combat features. Today, the developers have revealed that they have brought a huge change to the Ban Pan system.

PUBG Mobile Ban Pan system was introduced an year ago which analyzes the accounts of different players to detect if any third party program is being used to manipulate the result of the matches. Tencent also started placing permanent bans on the accounts of players caught of hacking.

Eventually, many players termed this system to be outdated as the situation of hackers seemed going out of hand. As a consequence, PUBG Mobile 1.8 update has brought some of the following changes in the Ban Pan system-

  • Merit System
  • Report system update
  • Safety Observation period

The Ban Pan system has been time and again upgraded to provide a legitimate gaming environment for every player. Tencent also took the harsh measure of introducing the Device Ban feature which permanently bans the device of the players who are caught cheating. This prevents the hacker from creating multiple accounts.
