After completing the “To the Kingdom of Hyrule” quest by interacting with Robbie and Purah in the location of Lookout Landing, Purah will send players to meet Captain Hoz in the castle.

Finding Captain Hoz in Tears of the Kingdom

First, players have to go to the Hyrule Castle Town Ruins. There after a little bit of exploration, they will find the Kyononis Shrine. After traveling to the North of Kyononis Shrine, players will engage in a conversation with Oliff who will guide them to the “gate tower at the top of the hill, past the lower gates”. As the player continues to the north across the bridge, Then player will then come across a grand, closed door.

Simply use the side ledges to pass around them. After going around the closed gate, you’ll meet Raseno. he will tell you that Captain Hoz is at the “first gatehouse up ahead.” Keep going north on the highway. After traveling to few distances, you will come across Sharce, who is manning a hallway. He will tell you that Captain Hoz is at the first gatehouse, up at the end of this road. Continue heading northeast along the road after passing him. The next guard you encounter will beYutas. Enter the gate the Yutas is guarding by ducking into the back left corner to get his shield. Continue moving along the road to the right.

Accessing the Roof of the Gatehouse in Tears of the Kingdom

Wingo is the next person you will run int o. He will tell you that the captain is up on the roof of the gatehouse. The lowest floor of the gatehouse contains a torch, a soup ladle, a soldier’s spear, and a soldier’s broadsword. Players will find it difficult to climb the wall while it’s raining. When you get back outside, look to Wingo’s left; you will see some of construction materials there. use the two large wooden panels as on long panel. Players will have to use this as a ramp to climb up to the top of the wall.

When at the top of the wall , grab the ramp using Ultrahand ability. Now put it in the rest of the way such that players would be able to use it to cross the hurdles. Then head to the left and there you will find Captain Hoz. After talking with Captain Hoz link will be asked to see Purah again. This is where players will continue the “Crisis at the Hyrule Castle” main quest.
