Trainwreckstv slams Twitch!
Tyler ‘Trainwreckstv’ Niknam has brutally slammed Twitch for its decision to ban gambling streams for certain categories. He expressed his disappointment over the new policy rules by announcing that he is going to do full time sports betting streams.
The announcement of Twitch banning gambling on their platform was rejoiced by many streamers such as Pokimane, Ludwig, HasanAbi but others were not equally happy, calling out Twitch for their abrupt decision.

Trainwreckstv calls out Twitch for partially banning gambling
Twitch provided an update to its users regarding their privacy policy claiming that from October 18th, they will prohibit streamers who promote content on dice, roulette and slots while allowing other categories such as sports betting, fantasy sports and poker.
The decision was largely applauded but streamers who were prominent due to their gambling streams were not satisfied with the announcement, with streamers like xQc and Trainwreckstv claiming that the platform should have banned all sorts of gambling rather than being so corrupt.
The popular streamer was earlier seen defending gambling streams as he felt that people are scapegoating roulette streams instead of focusing on the individual (ItsSliker) who was the primary accused in the controversy. When the ban was imposed on such streams, he immediately called the platform as ‘inconsistent’ and ‘corrupt’.

Trainwreckstv does not seem to be contended with the fact that other categories such as sports betting were not prohibited given that ItsSliker was a major sports betting addict. In order to oppose their decision, the streamer is planning to do full time sports betting streams.

Tyler asserted that the people who were appreciating Twitch’s decision will turn against him if he starts livestream sessions that are focused on sports betting. Calling the platform inconsistent, he stated that ‘this had to nothing to do with gambling’.

Fans back Trainwreckstv’s claim
Several fans seem to be agreeing upon the fact that Twitch placing a partial ban is rather oblivious as other ASMR streams that promote ‘se*ual’ content are still not banned on the platform which could be harmful for the minor users of the platform.
Fans were also wondering whether the streamer is implying that other Twitch personalities wanted him to get banned rather than the platform banning gambling with all the backlashes given out by high profile streamers.
