Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been capturing social media platforms which was evident once again as a Twitch streamer used deepfake technology to become the doppelganger of Keanu Reeves. The streamer was trying out miscellaneous celebrities until he ended up becoming real-life John Wick, leaving his fans gasping for air.

The streamer named Nymn has been making headlines ever since on the community as he brought deepfake technology to Twitch for the first time. He was apparently helped by one of his viewers as he received all the files and codes which were required to install the AI software.

Post the program installation, he took a moment before appearing in front of his viewers with a completely altered appearance. Even though his voice remained as it is when he exclaimed, “It’s me Keanu, welcome to Night City,” fans were certainly satisfied on how the streamer was able to ace the look, leaving no trace of his original appearance.

Nymn even tried out some dance steps while the AI generated image of Keanu Reeves remained intact on his face. Although he tried out the images of other celebrities such as Rowan Atkinson, none of them were able to match the perfection of the 58-year-old actor.

Twitch viewers might have seen a lot of celebrities appearing on the platform such as Drake, Snoop Dogg and even a Game of Thrones actress, but it was quite unbelievable for every fan to see Keanu Reeves streaming on Twitch.

Well, everyone was convinced that the John Wick star has become a streamer until Nymn tried out the faces of other public figures. He used deepfake technology, which took the social media platform TikTok by storm. For those unaware, this AI technology helps to create the exact picture of a celebrity on the face of the user.

Nymn became Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker as well as MrBean’s Rowan Atkinson until he was joined by his partner later on. The couple decided to try out some images together and each of them looked perfect enough providing a huge entertainment to their viewers.

Fan reactions

Nymn’s Keanu Reeves clip has been getting the maximum votes on the sub reddit- r/livestreamfails as fans are flooding the comment section by expressing their astonishment.

Some of the Redditors were however, concerned regarding the disadvantages that comes with this technology as people can use deepfake to use the images of prominent celebrities in adult videos, to hamper their image.
