“I just kind of stopped reading DMs”, Valkyrae reveals one of the wildest messages she got from her fans

YouTube sensation Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter recently became a part of the 100 Thieves podcast which also had another member named Will. The duo answered several questions that their fans had put forward, so that they could know the streamer better. One of the interesting question was someone asking what message from fans, do the content creators still remember.
Both of the creators agreed that the DMs from their fans are basically divided into positive and negative ones. Rae began by describing one of the worst messages she got from her fans was when she was addicted to GTA RP. “People DMing novels criticizing the way I would RP or like the way I should do it,” she explained that GTA 5 RP was the most insane community she saw in her life.
Valkyrae later explained one of the positive messages she received from her fans, although it was more like a common chat as a couple who happened to be her viewers told her that they’re going to have a baby, which they would name after her. When they sent snaps of the baby to the YouTuber, she explained that it really made her joyful.
Continuing further she told her fans that real life communication is more valuable to her as when someone comes up to her explaining how she changed their lives, it helps her to deal with the negativity. However, she also had her fair share of getting crazy messages, “I just kind of stopped reading DMs as they can be crazy sometimes”, she concluded.

Valkyrae once lost it on her fans for sending weird texts
Almost every streamer receives some hateful messages on their account or texts that creeps them out, as popularity comes often with a cost. YouTuber Valkyrae is also one of them as she once revealed during her livestream about the ‘sick’ messages she had received that might compel her to block people.
She explained how users had sent her some blurry pictures which were quite awkward to open. On top of that, she was being advised about the things she should do and things that she shouldn’t. This made her really disappointed towards her community.
Fans react to Valkyrae’s podcast
The podcast by 100 Thieves received several reactions from the fans. Most of them were happy that they were able to see Rachell in the podcast whereas some people highlighted how Will was a powerhouse in this video.
Valkyrae has gained a significant popularity on the platform over the the years, but she has also expressed some horrible fan encounters, that makes her relatable with other fellow streamers such as Pokimane, Amouranth etc.
