Earlier, the concept of Valorant agent skins was raised, and developers discussed the subject as well. Valorant Devs Talk is something brought to the notice of the audience with various issues like map or agent fixes or any clarification from the community in general.
Recently, developers have talked about some issues that were expected by gamers, but not yet introduced in the game. This includes Map pool system, Jett nerf, Yoru Buff, Icebox rework, and much more. A few of them have already been implemented in the game.
However, Riot devs said on their Twitch stream that there will be no Agent skins in the near future. “No concrete date, but don’t expect it anytime soon,” art lead Sean Marino stated. Marino’s answer did not, however, rule out Valorant Agent skins sometime down the road.
In fact, the way he words it almost makes it sound like it is something they plan on doing in the future. A year later, the feature seems to be becoming a reality, although the dates are not known. Valorant has recently released a short video on their officials.
In July, the devs team also had another talk regarding the agent skin and confirmed that it is part of the plan, however, they want the feature to go correctly, and not let it compromise the FPS gameplay. The new teaser is the Episode 4 home screen teaser, and it starts off with KJ wearing an alternate outfit.
According to several netizens, this might be the first teaser of the new feature. Knowing Valorant, who tends to put easter eggs earlier in teasers, this might be possible. However, there is no official confirmation yet from Riot Games.
