Felix “xQc” Lengyel, one of Twitch’s most widely recognized streamers as well as an ex-star of the Overwatch League, recently took shots at Hasan Piker, a fellow streamer for what he thought was unfair treatment towards him from Twitch.

Recently, Hasan was streaming a broadcast that showed a Los Angeles cop chase that was ongoing at the time, a particularly distressing event that comes close to violating Twitch’s policy surrounding such matters.

xQc on the other hand, was also streaming the same event but with a delay on his stream in accordance with Twitch’s Terms of Service and even cut the feed as soon as it was evident that someone had lost their life in the process.

In a stream following the incident, xQc opened up about what he thought about the entire fiasco and went on to say, “I’m not being a snitch about it, but Hasan watched a guy die on stream. I took the precaution to hide it. I put a delay, and I was smart about it.” making his discontent very clear.

xQc also followed up on what he said by saying “…What is my reward for it? Nothing. f*ing nothing. Actually nothing.” He implied that he felt Twitch’s moderation team was biased towards Hasan on such matters and actually overlooked a lot of things that Hasan did.

xQc talked about what he thinks would’ve happened if he would’ve made the same mistake on his stream and said, “But trust me, if I saw that guy die on my stream, if I made a mistake, I would have gotten banned. I don’t want to hear it. I don’t care.”

While commenting on why he thought Hasan got such special treatment, xQc blamed it on Hasan’s political stance and his being a leftist helping matters for him. “Hasan is a political streamer in good standing, and he’s a leftist, so that’s an instant win.”
