“That’s not real!”: xQc gets upset over portrayal in Forbes Top Creators list
The streamer commented on the article in a recent livestream
Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has been streaming on Twitch for a long time, from being a professional Overwatch player to becoming a full-time streamer, he has seen a steady rise in his fame and wealth over the years.
Owing to this fame, xQc was included in the inaugural Top Creators list curated by the prestigious business magazine. But the streamer was displeased on finding out how the article had depicted him.

xQc finds Forbes’ description “troll”
Prestigious business magazine Forbes recently released its first-ever Top Creators List, ranking 50 of the highest earning and most influential creators across multiple platforms like Twitch, YouTube and TikTok among others, specifying how these creators stand out from the crowd and find success in the currently growing creator economy.
While onstream, xQc chose to react to the excerpt from the article highlighting his social media presence. But things turned sour for the streamer as he read the description claiming his content to be “racist, homophobic, and sexually explicit”. The streamer reacted by saying-
"Guys, that is, that's cooked! How can it be worse? It's really bad, though. When did I do racist, homophobic, and sexually explicit content? None of these happened! None of these things happened! None of these happened, man! That is not real! That is not real!"

xQc claimed a moderator had previously sent him the excerpt, but after reading it, he thought it couldn’t be real, and his moderator was just joking with him. He went on to read the remaining article and exclaimed “That’s just troll! That’s so weird! That is so weird!”.
The streamer went on to explain how he was supposed to give an interview to Forbes regarding this article as well, but he couldn’t attend to it as at the time he was busy dealing with some personal issues. “I couldn’t get a f*cking minute of chill. Okay? So, I didn’t respond to them as of the interview. So, I ended up not doing it” he said.
xQc said that he didn’t intend to throw Forbes under the bus, but felt that they should “know better than to write this sh*t down there” and felt that somehow, the description was written “out of spite” after he denied their request for an interview. The list was topped by YouTuber MrBeast, and also featured personalities like Ninja, Shroud and KSI.
