“One billion dollars”: xQc plans to switch platforms with his ‘new’ community if YouTube pays him big time

Is xQc moving to YouTube?

Coming up with another Just Chatting session, Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel was seen responding to Fuslie’s move to YouTube Gaming earlier today. Similar to other high-profile streamers, Twitch’s most viewed streamer was talking about his potential move to the red platform but that could come at a huge price.

Even with new policies which allows its partners to stream on other platforms, Twitch is witnessing a huge downfall in the aspect of streamer retention. Within a span of few months, notable streamers have left the platform following the steps of Dr DisRespect.

Fuslie, the content creator for 100 Thieves was the latest Twitch streamer to announce her move to YouTube Gaming. The announcement, however, did not come as a surprise to her fans as it had been speculated for quite a month and got almost confirmed when she ended her Twitch livestream expressing gratitude to ‘Leslers’.

Her official move to YouTube Gaming came through a video where we were able to see her fellow streamers such as Valkyrae, Sykkuno and Miyoung. Apart from them, other streamers such as xQc have reacted on how he feels this could impact both of the platforms and whether he is planning move as well.

The former Overwatch player feels that YouTube might buy out a whole organization in near future instead of signing content creators individually. He gave his opinion on the OfflineTV members claiming that the Google owned platform could have easily owned the whole organization and this might be a phenomenon that we could witness in future.

Pondering upon his predictions, xQc stated that he might move to YouTube as well after he makes his own community with the ‘boys’. He took the names of Pokelawls, Jesse, Adin Ross, and Kai Cenat claiming that they would all join YouTube together if the platform pays them 1 billion.

"I am asking, I am going low here, one billion dollars payable in the lump sum only. We don't do sh*t like it, oh they will pay over the years with contracts like that, one billion."

xQc implied that the streaming platform could buy the entire community of xQc only if they paid them 1 billion together. He further showed the math that every streamer under the community should receive $250 million and that too, without any instalments.

The streamer seemed quite adamant about his demand but fans are considering it unlikely that Felix Lengyel would ever decide on switching platforms considering the insane amount of views that the streamer is currently procuring on the platform.
