French-Canadian streamer xQc was in a confirmed relationship with another Twitch streamer named Sam “Adept.” The couple dated for a few months in 2021, broke up and got back together in 2022. xQc and Adept broke up again in September 2022. Like most internet couples, their breakup was highly unusual.

Saying that their breakup was messy would be an understatement. The couple’s separation has been littered with verbal sparring, slander and legal battles. From Adept claiming that the two were married to her filing s*xual assault charges against xQc, the last year and a half has been a roller coaster ride for the two.

However, xQc may finally be free from the mental hassle. xQc revealed that he received a text message while streaming. The text had information regarding xQc’s lawsuit. The former Overwatch pro stepped away from his computer to make a call. He was informed that xQc was no longer involved in any significant legal battle.

Despite xQc finally being free from his legal battle, he may be forced to get involved once again. xQc revealed that a particular individual had sold his McLaren 720s Spider. While he did not name any names, many believed he was referring to Adept. Fans speculated that he could not name her on the stream, possibly because of legal reasons.

Furthermore, xQc revealed that his assets, including the McLaren, are supposedly frozen by the courts due to the recent legal battle, insinuating that the sale of the car was illegal. He even displayed a photo of his car to prove that his car was now in someone else’s custody. Fans suggested that the kickstreamer try to buy back the vehicle.

However, xQc revealed that he could not do so due to legal proceedings. Besides, the car was technically still under his ownership if the sale was proven illegal. On the night of February 21st, Adept was arrested by police authorities. While it is not confirmed yet, the arrest was made, possibly due to her illegal car sale.
