Ludwig describes about the recent swatting incident at his home
Ludwig Ahgren, who had turned to YouTube streaming a few months back was one of the latest victims of ‘swatting’. On August 29th, the streamer described how he was swatted again by the inept LA police and on a recent podcast, he described the viewers about the damage that was brought upon his house.
The popularity of Twitch streamers or YouTubers often comes at a price. While half of the community is quite supportive, the other half often drag the streamers into controversial issues such as ‘swatting’ or make them a subject of constant troll. One such streamer was Ludwig as he shared his plight with the viewers.

Ludwig shows the damage caused by the recent swatting incident
Swatting has become a major concern for the streamers since last year as several streamers are becoming a victim to the prank played by some of the viewers. While this might seem hilarious to the viewers, it is quite a deal for the streamers who have to face the consequences of such nuisance.
The dark side of swatting often goes unnoticed as during one such incident, the police had shot a person thinking that he might be posing a threat. Fortunately, no one was harmed during the incident faced by Ludwig, however, the streamer did face a major loss due to his house getting damaged.
The YouTuber who appeared in the podcast of The Yard was explaining the horrific consequences of this phenomenon as when he sitting in the police car, he was told that he will be provided a form to claim damages caused by the police.
“I thought this was fu**ing hilarious, at first I heard that they fell through the ceiling because I was in the car and they came out and they’re like ‘Hey we have to give you a form to claim damages’.”
He further stated that the police was quite thorough in their attic search and sweeped through the entire house while he had to sit in the car. Viewers were able to see the damaged ceiling that took place due to the frantic search of the police.
Ludwig was apparently hosting a chess tournament and went upstairs to have some water when the swatting incident took place in his house. Even though, no one was hurt, such incidents are often a liability to the streamers.
