Live streamers involving themselves in some awkward situations is not a new thing on Twitch. This time, Kai Cenat found himself in such a state as he passed out for a brief moment of time, following his consumption of some cannabis-based products.

The Streamer of the Year 2022 winner is always known for doing something extraordinary on his stream, apart from showcasing his gameplay videos on a regular basis. From including big names in the industry on his stream, to trying out ‘edibles’, he has done it all.

However, it was rather unfortunate to see the AMP member passing out on his live stream, in front of thousands of viewers. Fans were immediately concerned about his health as they pointed out that Kai Cenat might have gone a bit too far while taking this challenge.

At the initial part of his January 24th livestream, the Twitch star showed the products he has purchased before he starts consuming them. He mentioned the name of these products one by one, “‘nerd ropes.’ This is ‘delta 9.’ I don’t know what it means. Then we got chocolate bars.” Kai later added that he’s scared to try them out.

This was not the end, as he began informing the amount of cannabis, that each of the products comprised of. Out of them, he stated that he will refrain from taking the nerd ropes as it might become harmful for his health.

Following this, Kai Cenat decided to do some research of his own regarding the products. In addition to that, he called some of his friends to understand how much consumption will not harm him. This continued for a while, until he finally tried out three edibles.

The side effects of this consumption were visible some time later, as he abruptly fell unconscious while playing Gang Wars with his streamer friends. His chat was astonished at this phenomenon, whereas the clip is going viral on r/livestreamfails.

Viewers should note that the consumption of drugs and alcohol is prohibited on Twitch. However, some of the countries have not termed ‘marijuana’ as illegal. As Kai Cenat belongs to one such country, he has been able to avoid a ban on the platform.
