HasanAbi’s TikTok videos make their way to a class at University of South California

Social media influencers or content creators are not just influencing people at social media now, but to them as well who are not aware about the existence of such channels or are not a part of social media. This surprising moment came when Hasan ‘HasanAbi‘ Piker’s TikTok videos were shown to a group of college students.
Apart from streaming on Twitch, HasanAbi creates content for both YouTube and TikTok, and he’s quite good at it. Unlike other live streamers, who are mainly concerned about gaming, Hasan uses the platform to spread out his political opinions or his general outlook on the society.
The former columnist took note of this and shared on his Twitter account to hilariously claim that the $100k tuition fees being taken at the college is worth it, implying to his videos being played at the classroom. Users then gave out the details regarding the college where such a unique method of teaching has been adopted.
Apparently, the video is being played at University of South California (USC) school of cinematic arts. Professors at this university choose to show the content of popular live streamers to inspire the young generation in a unique way.
HasanAbi has recently avoided a permanent ban on TikTok
Ironically, the content creator whose videos are being shown to the students, has tasted the waters of getting permanently banned on the platform. However, the ban was revoked shortly after he took to Twitter to express his discontentment over the platform.
On January 17, the political commentator took to Twitter to criticize the policies of TikTok, claiming that whenever one of his videos is getting traction there, he is being mass reported, and this has caused him to face a permanent ban, much to his disappointment.
The criticism was not overlooked as the concerned officials decided to unban him a few hours later. On the flip side, his videos becoming a method to teach students, was quite surprising both to the streamer as well as his fans who gave out the following reactions to his post-
