Matthew ‘Mizkif’ Rinaudo came back for Twitch streaming earlier today after the ban placed on him got lifted. While the ban might have been for barely a day, the streamer was acutely disappointed at the policies adopted by the platform which he explained while revealing why he got banned at the first place.
On his January 16 livestream, Mizkif decided to cosplay as Hatsune Miko, a popular Japanese anime character. At the later part of the video, he explained how he reached out to the authorities to get the justification for his ban. “I want to understand the logic here”, he began while further adding his question that he kept towards the concerned members.
The streamer described that he got banned as he was watching a video of Gross Gore, an internet personality who has been banned on the platform. “Well, doesn’t everybody react to Destiny all the time?”, Mizkif asked the Twitch authorities to which he got the reply that nobody has reported xQc for watching Destiny.
Mizkif is disappointed at Twitch
OTK co-founder Mizkif came back for regular streaming when the CrazySlick situation was put under control to some extent. However, he regretted this decision later on as his casual behavior led his organization to mark him outside the board of directors committee.
Following this decision, the content creator took to YouTube to give out an official apology for his behavior as well as promise his viewers about the new content he is going to bring. Initially starting from IRL streams, Mizkif was eventually regaining his popularity when he suddenly got hit with an unexpected ban.
He later revealed on Twitch that he got banned due to the violation of ‘Aiding account suspension evasion’, which implies that his livestream featured the video of someone whose account was suspended on the platform. While he understood the reason for his ban, he wondered why xQc is able to evade such suspensions.
Apparently, the Twitch staff informed him that no one has ever reported xQc for watching the clips of Destiny, a banned Twitch streamer who has now shifted to YouTube.
Mizkif’s viewers have highlighted that people should start reporting xQc when he is found watching the clips of Destiny on his livestream, to know whether Twitch stays true to its words or not. On the other hand, some Twitter users are claiming that Twitch has become a useless platform now.
