“Oh, that’s scary”: Pokimane hits out at viewers who termed Adin Ross’ swatting incident as ‘fake’

Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys was back for her Twitch livestream after sharing a horrifying incident where she was almost scammed into sending her private pictures to a person who posed as a company official. As she started streaming, she encountered the viral clip of Adin Ross getting swatted on his livestream.
As she watched the stream, her chat was continuously asking her urging her not to watch the incident but the streamer decided to go ahead anyway. She halted when viewers were claiming that the swatting incident was fake and Adin Ross did it to get viewers, this went on the nerves of Pokimane.
She vehemently criticized the viewers by stating, “Why are people saying he’s faking it? Why would anyone wanna fake a swat? Oh, that’s scary.” The Canadian-Moroccan internet personality was certainly baffled to learn that people can call such a grave situation as ‘fake’.
Pokimane is unhappy with her audience
The entire incident of Adin Ross getting swatted has alerted fellow streamers as they have started believing that anyone could turn out to be the victim of swatting due to some toxic viewers on their livestream. While Pokimane has fortunately not faced any such situation, she clearly understands what a menace ‘swatting’ is.
As someone who is always vocal about the arising situations in the streamer’s community, the Twitch content creator doesn’t back off from speaking her mind and even slamming her viewers, if she feels that they are going in the wrong direction. She realized Adin Ross was completely devastated after getting swatted three times in a row, therefore, it certainly couldn’t be a hoax.
Fellow streamer Felix ‘xQc‘ Lengyel also spoke up on the issue explaining that it is disappointing to see so many swatting incidents in a row, he also shared his own experience that forced him to shift houses.

Did Adin Ross come back for streaming after getting swatted?
The 22-year-old content creator is yet to go live again after he swatted yesterday. He was banned for a brief period but now stands unbanned. Moreover, Adin Ross claimed that he is aware of the identity of the perpetrator and would make his parents pay since the accused is a minor. Fans are therefore, eager to learn more from the streamer about the incident as they last saw him going out of his apartment with the police.
