Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter informed her fans earlier today that her YouTube channel was hacked. As she prepared to start her routine livestream, she found out that her channel was hacked and was renamed to Tesla. Not only that, the alleged hacker had started playing a Tesla video on her livestream.

While her channel was restored within a few hours of being hacked, the YouTuber was disappointed as several people unsubscribed, thinking it to be a fake channel. While her channel got hacked approximately around 4:30 PM PT, she was able to regain its access within a few hours. As her fans were concerned, she decided to start an immediate livestream to inform her audience about the whole scenario that was going on behind this.

She seemed quite calm while asking for an apology from her fans due to all the complications. Valkyrae also informed that she had currently turned off the subscriber mode, as so many people opted out from subscription, considering it to be a fake channel. “Everything, everything changed, they put all of my shorts in private,” she told her chat.

Valkyrae went on to say that she thinks it might be a bot or an issue of the Google-owned streaming platform, that they need to fix. “This also happened to Peter (Peter Park) where they, the vods aren’t deleted, they just unlisted everything.” As fans were in panic whether all of her videos got deleted, she informed that they were just taken down from public view.

Rae stated that this could have happened on random where the hacker or a bot changes the profile picture, put all the videos on unlisted and do a livestream to promote cryptocurrency. “If it was an actual hacker, they would be doing much more like typing in the chat, or you know tweeting, or stuff like that,” she concluded.
