General Updates:

Spray Wheel: An important update in this patch includes text on the Spray equip screen. This addition helps players conveniently identify their bound key binds for sprays, making it easier to manage and utilize sprays during intense matches.

Modes Updates:

Team Deathmatch: Valorant’s most recent release shifts its focus onto Team Deathmatch. Bringing players into an action-packed competition that revolves around engaging in team-based combat. Teams will battle it out for supremacy – either reaching one hundred kills or achieving the highest score possible all within ten minutes – promising sheer excitement and nonstop intensity from start to finish when taking part in this new compelling multiplayer game mode.

Agent Updates:

Meet Deadlock – a new powerful agent in Valorant, joining an already impressive roster. This Norwegian agent is highly skilled and has remarkable abilities. What makes Deadlock unique is his strong connection with Sova, another prominent agent in Valorant. Let’s take a closer look at Deadlock’s unique abilities:

  • Barrier Mesh (E): Deadlock uses a disk to create a barrier, controlling the battlefield and protecting critical positions.
  • Sonic Sensor (Q): Deadlock’s Sonic Sensor detects sounds, causing momentary disorientation for opponents in designated areas.
  • GravNet (C): Deadlock’s explosive grenade transforms into an unbreakable net, immobilizing nearby opponents and hindering their movements.
  • Annihilation (X): Deadlock’s ultimate ability ensnares a target with nanowires, eliminating them unless teammates intervene to free them.

Progression Updates:

Daily Rewards: An exciting improvement has been made to the daily rewards system in this update. The Checkpoint Track allows players to track their progress and earn experience points and Kingdom Credits. These changes make regular gaming sessions more meaningful and beneficial.

Agent Recruitment Event: A novel method to unveil agents is presented via the Deadlock initiative. With every new release, Agent Recruitment Events will be included. To unlock agents, players must complete specific goals and earn XP within a given time. During the event or after, players can get agents using Valorant Points or Kingdom Credits. This new system adds excitement and anticipation to unlocking agents.

Agent Gear: Agent Gear brings unique cosmetics and weapon skins tailored to each agent. Players can acquire these thrilling rewards through natural gameplay advancement or via purchasing them with either Valorant Points (VP) or Kingdom Credits (KC). The improved leveling system grants Kingdom Credits when players reach Level 5.

Accessory Store: Valorant introduces an Accessory Store offering exclusive cosmetic items from past battle passes. The store lets players use Kingdom Credits to buy Player Cards, Sprays, Titles, and Gun Buddies. This addition gives fans another opportunity to obtain desired items from previous Valorant seasons.

Bug Fixes

General:

  • Fixed an issue where the Spray Wheel failed to appear in-game when experiencing packet loss during the loading phase. This bug has been addressed, significantly reducing the frequency of such occurrences.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to make purchases outside of their account’s designated region.
  • Fixed an issue where opposing team bullet tracers were visible during the Buy Phase, providing an unfair advantage.

Agents: Several agent-specific bug fixes were implemented, ensuring a smoother gameplay experience for Chamber, Yoru, Omen, Cypher, Sage, Killjoy, and Reyna. These fixes include interrupting teleport abilities if suppressed mid-animation, resolving placement issues with certain abilities, and addressing issues with ability interactions.

Social:

  • Fixed an issue where the Chinese Baidu Pinyin input method was restricted to typing English in chat.
  • Rectified a bug where the Push-to-Talk key occasionally transmitted voice even after releasing the key, improving voice communication reliability.

Stepping up your Valorant game just got a lot more interesting as Patch version 7.0 drops alongside Episode 7 Act I officially beginning on June 27th. Before that arrives though, make sure you don’t miss out on any action in the concluding Phase III of Episode VI which wraps things up nicely before taking another step forward. With this update comes an impressive new battle pass featuring not one but three spectacular weapon skin lines and various products to earn.
