Austria vs North Macedonia: Austria, who are being considered as one of the dark horses of Euro 2020, are set to take on North Macedonia, probably the least known team in the tournament this year, tonight at 3:00 pm GMT at Romania’s National Arena. The Burschen will be looking forward to giving their campaign a victorious start as they step on the field against the weakest team of the tournament ‘on-paper’.

But as they say, Football is played on the field and not on-paper and thus do not get shocked if North Macedonia, being the underdogs, beat the odds to register their first victory in a major European tournament, much like what Finland did last night against Denmark. This is the first time that North Macedonia have qualified for the European Championship. As mentioned by their captain Goran Pandev, who they shall be looking upon for goals , their team has created ‘made history’. Although Austria are hands down the favourites to win the match, North Macedonia will definitely make it very difficult for the opposition as they have the ‘fighter’s mentality’ innate in them.
