“Everyone prefers Devon Dudley” Paige takes a dig on Bully Ray’s comments about Jon Moxley
Saraya-Jade Bevis, commonly known by her ring name Paige, is a veteran professional athlete from the United Kingdom. She is presently working as an ambassador for WWE.
Paige is the latest pro wrestler to weigh in on Bully Ray’s comments regarding Jon Moxley on Thursday’s broadcast of Busted Open Radio.
Bully Ray comments on Jon Moxley
Ray was referring to Moxley’s promo on this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, which was his first public engagement in months after deciding to get treatment in a rehab facility.
He contrasted Dean Ambrose’s exclusion due to alcoholism to Tommy Dreamer‘s problems and said the former world champion owed the fans an apology. Ray later emphasized that he does not believe Moxley “owed” an apology, but would have preferred to see him do so.
“I did enjoy that they started off with Moxley,” Bully said on Busted Open Radio. “They came out with a bang, people were ready for it and Moxley said what he needed to say. However, I would have liked to have heard just a little bit of accountability from Jon. I understand the whole demons thing and we always use the word demons as a creative word to get around the real issues. Whether it’s an alcohol issue, whether it’s a drug issue. In Tommy [Dreamer’s] case it’s an eating issue. Everybody has some kind of demon that they have to get around,” said former WWE Champion Bully Ray.
Paige Reacts to Bully Ray’s comments
Renee Paquette, Moxley‘s wife, reacted to Ray’s comments on Twitter. “There’s a reason everyone prefers Devon,” Paige said in response to Paquette’s tweet on what Ray had to say. What a horrible thing to say.”
Paige responded with a follow-up tweet, stating, “Hey guys. Fyi if you have to take time off to better yourself for very important health reasons. Please make sure you apologize to bubba for the time off.”
