McLaren team principal Andrea Stella has offered words of advice to Lando Norris in his fight for the drivers’ championship. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen currently leads the title race and is the sworn contender to Norris.
Max Verstappen started the season looking to dominate like he did in previous years. He won seven of the first ten races, rising to the top of the leaderboard. However, he has since failed to win in any of the last 10 races. This has allowed Lando Norris to capitalize by winning races and scoring impressive podiums.
Andrea Stella has named Verstappen as one of the best drivers in Formula 1. Stella then urged Norris to handle his fight against the three-time world champion with maturity and skill from here on.
I think Lando is definitely a mature driver now who can handle this kind of fight, a fight against one of the best drivers in the history of Formula 1.

Damon Hill questions Max Verstappen’s tactics ahead of Brazilian GP
Ex-British F1 world champion Damon Hill has continued to criticize Max Verstappen’s approach to racing ahead of the race in Interlagos. Verstappen made a controversial move during his duel with Norris at the Mexican GP last week.
I think that he’s using fear and intimidation. He also has explained a little bit more about his tactics which has been that he regards it as a gamble. Sometimes it may pay off, sometimes he may get the better of the stewards, they might not apply a penalty. He’s also using it as a way of compromising the title contender Lando Norris. So there is some logic, there’s some method to his angriness.

Damon Hill has deemed Verstappen’s tactics a gamble and is questioning the fairness of his actions. The 27-year-old blocked Norris from making an overtake and further pushed him off the track in Mexico last week. The FIA thereafter penalized the Dutchman with a 20-second penalty.
Verstappen heads into the Brazilian Grand Prix needing to prove his critics wrong by racing fairly. He was not pleased with the RB20’s performance in Sprint qualifying and will thus, be hoping for a better outing in the upcoming Sprint race.
