Joseph noted that his father passed away ten years ago on the same day McLaren gained the lead. Additionally, Joseph’s father had passed away while his son was traveling to Singapore for his F1 duties. Lando Norris claimed he didn’t ‘expect’ Azerbaijan GP to be ‘so good’ after a disappointing Qualifying

Lando Norris had crushing hopes of a great performance after qualifying in P17 for the main race. However, the Briton drove exceptionally well to avoid danger on the track and finally scored a P4 finish. As a result, Norris reckoned that he wasn’t expecting the race to be so good. Additionally, the 24-year-old noted that Sergio Perez and Carlos Sainz’s crash helped him a lot as well.

I am happy. I wasn't expecting it to be so good. And the two cars crashing infront helped a lot. As soon as Alex got out of my way the pace was good. And Oscar winning was also good for the team.
