Lewis Hamilton is one of the biggest names in the sporting world. The seven-time world champion has become synonymous with some bold outfits in the F1 paddock. However, former F1 head Bernie Ecclestone seems to be far from impressed.

Ecclestone claimed that the way Hamilton presented himself in public divided opinions. The 94-year-old highlighted that the 40-year-old has won world titles and has plenty of money in his bank account to dress in any way he wants. Though, the ex-F1 Supremo made it clear that he did not like Lewis Hamilton‘s choice of clothing.

Lewis gets himself up front in a way where you can dislike him. How a guy who has won a few world titles and has a few dollars in the bank can dress the way he dresses… I’m not a fan of that.

Bernie Ecclestone acknowledged that the Ferrari driver has immense talent as a driver. Although, this compliment came with a catch. The British billionaire claimed that Hamilton did not have as much talent as he was credited by some in the paddock.

He has a lot of talent as a driver. As much as people credit him with? No, but still enough to win races.

Bernie Ecclestone demands Lewis Hamilton to end music plans

The seven-time world champion has a passion for music. He made his vocal debut in secrecy by featuring in Christina Aguilera‘s song ‘Pipe’ in 2018 under the name, ‘XNDA.’ Lewis Hamilton has expressed his desire to release more songs under this name in the future. However, Bernie Ecclestone claimed that the 40-year-old must get out of this business alongside other ‘nonsense.’

I don’t know why he does all this other nonsense. He needs to get out of the music business and whatever else.

Bernie Ecclestone noted

It is unlikely that Lewis Hamilton would care to listen to Ecclestone’s harsh comments. Rather, the F1 legend is focused on the start of the new season with his new team. Hamilton will be aiming to potentially fight for the world championship during his first season as a Ferrari driver.
