Carlos Sainz faced a highly disappointing situation after being sacked from Ferrari to make way for Lewis Hamilton in 2025. Being a Ferrari driver is a dream of many Formula 1 drivers and Hamilton finally received this opportunity. Hence, ahead of the Briton’s debut, Sainz revealed the ‘tough things’ about racing for one of the most historic teams in the sport.
Scuderia Ferrari was formed alongside Formula 1’s inception back in 1950. The sport also pays an additional fee to Maranello due to the team’s history in the sport. As a result, the Tifosi bank a lot of hope on whoever gets into the Red chassis. Carlos Sainz noted that there were a lot of tough things about being a Ferrari driver. The 30-year-old warned Lewis Hamilton that not everything was ‘roses and perfect’ in the Italian squad ahead of his debut.
Speaking about the positive sides, Sainz claimed that the Ferrari fans treated every race as a home race. The 30-year-old labeled the feeling as ‘very special’ which couldn’t be explained in mere words. The Spaniard was confident that the feeling of being a Ferrari driver was something that he never felt before and enjoyed every single moment of it.

Hamilton’s move to Ferrari might enable the team to return back to their glory days in Formula 1. The team’s recently upturning performance is already a highly positive factor for the Briton ahead of his debut. Hence, time will tell about how the Ferrari stint pans out for the 40-year-old.
