Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz has praised McLaren for their mighty performance during the 2024 Dutch Grand Prix. Sainz raced for the Papayas in the 2019 and 2020 seasons, pairing alongside Lando Norris, who was the winner at Zandvoort on Sunday.

McLaren has been a formidable force this campaign, showcasing consistent pace and balance since their win at Miami. The Woking-based team has been one of the few teams to have brought about the fewest upgrades while managing to remain the fastest of them all.

The Woking-based team levied a staggering 22-second lead on second-placed Red Bull, which came as a surprise to many. Andrea Stella claimed that his team capitalized on the MCL38’s long and medium pace, which was a key factor in their win on Sunday.

The Papayas have won three races in 2024, moving within 30 points of the Milton-Keynes outfit in the Constructors Championship. They will now hope to continue with the same intensity, eyeing the coveted title for the first time since 1997.
