After the recent Singapore GP, the Formula 1 season has paused for a month. Many teams and drivers are focused on getting back on track for the remainder of the season. While some are fully dedicated to their preparations, others are taking valuable time to relax with loved ones. Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc celebrated his brother’s engagement with his family and girlfriend, Alexandra Saint Mleux.
Charles Leclerc comes from a close-knit family that has greatly shaped his career. His father, Herve Leclerc, a former Formula 3 racer, played a key role in starting his motorsport journey. Leclerc Sr passed away in 2017 after battling a long illness, leaving his mother, Pascale Leclerc, to continue supporting the 26-year-old through his career.
The Monagasque has two brothers, Lorenzo and Arthur Leclerc in his family. Lorenzo, the eldest, recently got engaged to his fiancée, Charlotte Pietro, in Monaco. With Formula 1 on break, the Leclerc family gathered to celebrate Lorenzo’s engagement. Ferrari driver’s girlfriend, Alexandra Saint Mleux, also joined the family for the celebration dinner.
Charles Leclerc shared a family picture on Instagram, highlighting one of Monaco’s best hotel resorts. Alongside his family and girlfriend, Mleux, their dog, Leo, also appeared, sitting obediently. Leclerc held Leo in his arms and was pampering him. The dog has become a fan favorite, frequently seen with the couple at various race events. Leo even accompanies Mleux to the paddock during race weekends, delighting fans wherever he goes.
Charles Leclerc admits Ferrari’s highs were very high compared to it’s low’s in 2024
Ferrari faced multiple struggles during the 2024 season, primarily due to issues with their car’s performance and handling. Early in the season, they encountered problems with “bouncing” at high speeds. However, Ferrari bounced back later in the season by implementing a series of updates to their SF-24 car, especially focusing on aerodynamic improvements and optimizing tyre management.
These updates helped Charles Leclerc secure crucial victories, including his dream wins in Monaco and Monza. Leclerc mentioned the team experienced very highs and lows this year. However, The highs were much higher, and the lows very low. Despite this, it had no lasting impact, and they bounced back to their original form easily.
Till now, Leclerc has performed impressively, placing third in the driver’s standings. He is focused on overtaking McLaren’s Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, as McLaren’s car has become more competitive. However, with Max Verstappen bouncing back from his performance slump, Leclerc still faces tough challenges in his pursuit of the championship title.
