Not fast enough, all weekend we had the same problem in turn 1-2, and we couldn't solve it, very disappointed. The race? We can still play our cards tomorrow because we are all close, but well, the frustration is there.

The 26-year-old has spoken on the team’s need to capitalize on opportunities from the very start during the 53-lap Italian GP. Ferrari has been winless since Monaco, but a change of fortune on race day could see them triumph at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza.

In Q3, we had a very weird change in balance with the car. We struggled with understeer in medium-high speed corners, and the lap got away from us with the front tyres. I had a few big understeer moments during the lap.
Carlos Sainz said after the Italian GP qualifying

Carlos Sainz felt sudden issues with the steering of his car during the final part of qualifying. Sainz claimed that the SF-24 struggled around medium-high-speed corners with a few understeering moments.

The Ferrari duo start behind McLaren and Mercedes, as has been the tale for them since the past few races. They will now look to resolve their issues for a better outing at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza on Sunday. The Tifosi will also be out in numbers to cheer on Leclerc and sainz during the Italian GP.
