Charles Leclerc will be partnered by Lewis Hamilton in the upcoming season. The seven-time world champion has high ambitions for his Ferrari debut. This can increase the pressure on the Monegasque driver. Now, Leclerc has accepted that he faces a stiff challenge this year.

The 27-year-old seeks to learn from his time alongside Hamilton at Maranello. So much so, Leclerc plans to analyze the Briton’s conversations within the garage. The Monegasque driver insisted that he remained fully confident about his capabilities against the seven-time world champion.

Charles Leclerc confessed that facing Lewis Hamilton in equal machinery was going to be the biggest challenge of his career. He pointed out that Hamilton is the most successful driver in the history of the sport with over 100 race wins. Leclerc reckoned that having the Briton as his teammate would serve as a motivating factor this year.

It’s definitely a huge challenge and probably one of the biggest of my career. He’s the most successful driver in Formula 1 and to have him as my teammate is a really, really big motivation for me to learn from him but also to show what I’m capable of.
