Charles Leclerc is a driver who shares a deep sense of love and respect for his late father, Herve Leclerc. The Monegasque has recalled his father on multiple special occasions while racing in the pinnacle of motorsport. Leclerc had also mentioned previously how his father was all he could think about while winning the home race in Monaco.

Charles Leclerc‘s love for Herve Leclerc has been witnessed by several people on the grid. Leclerc has dedicated multiple performances to his father. Hence, on Herve’s seventh death anniversary, the Monegasque took to Instagram to once again recall the crucial role of his father in his Formula 1 career.

Leclerc reposted his previous post on his Instagram with multiple pictures of him and his dad. The 26-year-old highlighted that his father had done absolutely everything for him.

Additionally, the story was captioned ‘7 years’ which further marked the death anniversary of Herve Leclerc. The Monegasque had also previously remembered his father on his impressive Monacan race victory.

Charles Leclerc will be paired up with Lewis Hamilton after the latter announced his shocking switch to Ferrari. Both the drivers are extremely well in their own regards and will surely put up a great battle. Upon working together as teammates, Leclerc reckoned that there was a great deal of respect between the two. However, the 26-year-old believed that after Hamilton joined Ferrari, the bond between the two would only grow stronger.

There is a great deal of respect, as well as a very good relationship, but maybe we don't see each other so much that we are friends. I am convinced that our relationship will become closer when it arrives at Ferrari, many worlds unite us, music too.

Regardless, Leclerc saw the ordeal as a great opportunity to showcase Ferrari’s capability on the grid. Additionally, having a driver like Hamilton sent out a huge signal in favor of Maranello’s competitiveness and desire to score a world championship. Subsequently, the 26-year-old claimed that he would learn from one of the best pilots in F1.

I see it as a super opportunity, for me and the team, but also for our sport. Having a seven-time world champion on a team is a huge signal that we send out. It motivates me a lot to show what I am capable of and I will be able to learn from one of the best pilots ever.
